Biorepository Products

Cytomyx LLC maintains one of the largest and most diverse commercial human biorepositories in the world. This has been created through supply agreements with an extensive network of donor sites in the USA.

The Cytomyx Biorepository contains over 140,000 samples, all with extensive associated clinical data. All of our samples are:

• Collected under strict ethical consenting practices
  
  
• Preserved using stringent technical protocols that maximize sample quality and minimize preservation associated variances
  
  
• Annotated with associated clinical data
  
  
• Bar-coded for tracking purposes
  
  
• Maintained in a rigorously monitored environment
  
  
• Available for review via user defined searches through an on-line database known as the BIGR® Library
  

Clients are able to search the samples in the Cytomyx Biorepository for those that match their precise study requirements, either online or with the support of our Customer Services team.

Once samples have been identified and selected, clients are able to license these samples for their internal research needs. In addition to paraffin embedded and frozen tissue formats, Cytomyx is able to generate a wide range of related derivative products, including RNA, DNA and protein extracts, Tissue Microarrays, and a comprehensive range of tissue based research services.
